· The Health Center opens 3 days a week -Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday- serving about 150-200 patients per day.
· The Weekly Outreach Mobile Medical Team travels to remote villages serving about 170-200 per day; many patients are elderly and handicapped. In some areas, due to the needs or distance, the team will stay overnight in order to serve 300-600 in 2 days.
· The HIV&AIDS Care Center is located in the main facility serving HIV&AIDS patients. Currently it also provides room and board for 5 orphans.
The HIV&AIDS Care Center offers health care and education, emotional support to HIV&AIDS patients and their families, staffed by volunteers and Sisters from four Congregations in Hue : The Lovers of the Cross, The Visitation, The Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres, and The Daughters of Mary Immaculate. With many newly-diagnosed HIV&AIDS patients in Hue and its vicinity, the needs keep increasing without resources to meet them.
